A meeting between Beijing's Changping district and the Beijing Business Association for Cooperation among Provinces and Cities took place at the Shahe campus of the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) on July 16. This event was designed to pave the way for the implementation of a number of joint projects.

During the meeting, Liu Yihong, director of the investment promotion bureau of Changping district, provided a comprehensive overview of the district's industrial layout, location advantages, business environment and investment support policies. She detailed the development plans for key industries in the region and the project implementation support system.
Yang Wu, general manager of CUFE Asset Management (Beijing) Co Ltd, gave a presentation on the development positioning, resources, innovation incubation system and support policies of the CUFE Science Park. He explained how the science park leverages the university's strengths in finance and economics to serve as a platform for technology transfers, the development of enterprises, and university-local cooperation.
Li Yanping, president of the Beijing Business Association for Cooperation among Provinces and Cities, introduced the association's organizational structure, core resources and service functions. He explained the cooperation model that links quality enterprises and empowers local industrial development.
Representatives from participating enterprises talked about their core projects, industrial resources and collaboration needs for project implementation in Changping district. All parties engaged in in-depth discussions on project alignment, resource linkages and implementation cooperation.
The meeting, which focused on the CUFE Science Park, effectively connected government, business associations, enterprises, and academic resources — facilitating a channel for the implementation of high-quality industrial projects. It further expanded the breadth and depth of university-local cooperation. Moving forwards, CUFE will continue to leverage its strengths in disciplines, research, and talent — relying on the science park's innovation incubation platform to deepen industry-education integration and university-city collaboration. Moreover, CUFE aims to actively support the industrial upgrading and the cultivation of new quality productive forces in Changping district — contributing the strength of the university to the region's high-quality economic development.
Nearly 50 people attended the meeting, including representatives from the Beijing Business Association for Cooperation among Provinces and Cities, Changping district, enterprises, and academia.
