On the morning of May 29, the inaugural meeting of the Career Development Center of the School of Culture and Communication of the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) and the signing ceremony for an industry-education integration base were held in Conference Room 108, Building 13, CUFE Shahe Campus. Ding Yongling, secretary of the School of Culture and Communication Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), presided over the meeting.
In his address,Zhu Fei, dean of the School of Culture and Communication, systematically elaborated on the background and significance of establishing the school's Career Development Center. He stated that the school is committed to cultivating "π-shaped talents" who possess both professional depth and cross-disciplinary capabilities. The Career Development Center will integrate high-quality resources from both on and off campus to provide students with systematic, full-process career guidance and services, promote the deep integration of education and social practice, and effectively empower students' career development.
Meng Liqun, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Changping District Committee, emphasized the importance of deepening industry-education integration in promoting industry innovation and talent cultivation from the perspectives of policy support and regional development, and fully affirmed the model for cooperation between the school and enterprises.
Di Fei, deputy director of the CUFE'sStudent Affairs Office, commended the School of Culture and Communication for its proactive efforts in promoting student employment, stating that the university's Employment and Career Development Guidance Center will fully support the development of school-level career development centers, and jointly build a career education system that spans academic study and professional careers.
Zhang Lidong, director of the AIGC Industry-Education Training Department atCGYEAR (Beijing) Technology Co Ltd, expressed expectations for practical cooperation with the school in project development, internships and practical training, together with joint talent cultivation through the construction of industry-education integration practice and innovation bases, achieving resource sharing and complementary advantages.
Liu Xiangqian, vice president and editor-in-chief of China Interactive Sports Technology Invention Co Ltd, as analumnus enrolled by the CUFE's Chinese Language Department in 2000, shared his growth insights from campus to the workplace based on his own career experience, encouraging young students to set long-term career goals and expand their practical abilities.
Witnessed by the attending guests, Zhu Fei and Zhang Lidong signed a cooperation agreement on-site and unveiledthe "Central University of Finance and Economics Practice Base for the Integrated Innovation of Research, Industry and Education". Both parties will take this opportunity to jointly explore new paths for collaborative education and promote the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application.

The attending guests jointly unveiled the school's Career Development Center, named "Zhiyuan Zhai" ("Ambition Studio").

The establishment of the Career Development Center is an important initiative by theSchool of Culture and Communication to deepen educational and teaching reforms, and serve students' career development. The school will leverage the center to continue expanding cooperation resources between the school and enterprises, improving the career support system, striving to cultivate high-quality interdisciplinary talents that meet societal needs, and injecting new momentum into disciplinary development and industry growth.
