The "Meeting in the Future" 2026 graduation gala of the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), was held at the Thousand-People Auditorium of its Shahe Campus on the evening of June 5.Amongthe host ofdignitaries who gathered to celebrate the milestone with more than 1,000 graduate representatives were CUFE President Ma Haitao, Deputy Secretary ofthe CUFE Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and CUFE Vice President Zhu Lingyun, and Deputy Secretary ofthe CPC CUFE Committee and Secretary of the CPC CUFE Commission for Discipline Inspection Zhang Qingdong. Also present wasMember ofthe Standing Committee of the CPC CUFE Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC CUFE Committee Yu Xiaoming. Joining proceedings were leaders from various CUFE units and departments,school and institute cadres of theCommunist Youth League of China, and advisers andteachers in charge of 2026 graduated classes.

With creative flair and cinematic storytelling, the opening short filmGraduation, Departurecaptured the laughter and tears of young people with a single vision — preserving the story of the CUFE and its 2026 graduates. The gala was divided into three sections, featuring 13 performances in various categories such as singing, dancing, opera, cross talk, percussion, orchestral music andpoetic visual arts. The heartfelt rendition, devoted to the graduates, was a feast for the senses.

The event was brought to life by over 300 faculty and student performers. Each performance conveyed the power of youth — encouraging graduates to embark on their new journey with courage and responsibility, ready to embrace the future and make their mark on the world.
