On the afternoon of September 9th, an orientation for the 2016 Ph.D. Students, hosted by Wang Hongmei, vice dean of the Graduate School of CUFE, was held in the Academic Hall. All the Ph.D. students attended this orientation.

First of all, Ma Haitao, dean of the Graduate School, gave an introduction to all the students on the cultivation and management of Ph.D. Students in CUFE. Shi Jianping, vice president of CUFE, extended his sincere congratulations to all the students at first. In his speech, he encouraged them to establish great ideals and abide by lofty and scientific faith; to be a down-to-earth person who handles knowledge accurately, and to strengthen efforts to enhance their scientific research quality and innovation ability. In the end, Wang hongmei, on behalf of the Graduate School, encouraged them to adjust new environment as soon as possible and to develop a spirit of valuing science, seeking truth, upholding strictness and self-discipline and pursing innovation.
