CUFE-LSU (Louisiana State University in the U.S.) MBA seminar on business startups was held in CUFE’s MBA Education Center.

Prof. Xiao jing Jia addressed the seminar. She extended thanks for the cooperation with LSU over the years. After a brief introduction of the development of the two universities’ cooperation and the background of this seminar, she introduced the implementation and fruitful achievements of the innovative startup education as well as internationalization strategies the Business School and MBA Education Center of CUFE have yielded in recent years.

Prof. Yuxiu Chen addressed the seminar as well. He introduced his own experience of field investigation in various industries home and abroad as well as the differences between China and the U.S. regarding business startups. In addition, he illustrated the limitation of the development of Chinese enterprises.

Later on, outstanding alumni representatives of CUFE addressed the meeting respectively, sharing the current situation, the development trend of their companies and the cooperation-exchange programs with U.S.

The two-hours’ communication between teachers and students from both universities have deepened their understanding of innovation and business startups. Three professors from Business School of LSU offered their brief analysis of these companies and gave suggestions to the development of international cooperation in the future. Both universities wished there be more similar seminars for further cooperation and exchange. The seminar provided abundant resources and intellectual support for the development of enterprises founded by alumni.
