On the afternoon of September 9th, a commendatory ceremony was held in CUFE to celebrate the 32nd Teachers’ Day. University Management Team, including the Party Secretary Fu Shaolin, the President Professor Wang Guangqian, Deputy Party Secretary Ni Haidong, Liang Yong and Chen Ming, and Assistant to President Zhu Lingyun, attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by the Deputy Party Secretary Liang Yong.

At the very beginning, a group of staff members having worked more than 30 years were awarded by the university.

Later, two other awards were announced respectively. Professor Xu Feiqiong from School of Insurance was awarded the “Outstanding Teacher” for her teaching performance. The “Best Morality” teaching prizes went to Associate Professor Chen Yunsen from School of Accountancy and Professor Lei Mengjing from School of Statistics and Mathematics. The President, Professor Wang Guangqian presented the award certificates to them respectively.

Professor Li Xiaomei, on behalf of all the teachers who have worked more than 30 years, delivered a speech on her teaching life. She vividly recalled her own experience of learning and working at CUFE.

The Party Secretary Fu Shaolin, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Management Team of CUFE, expressed his sincere thanks and deep respect to all the teaching staff.

After the commendatory ceremony, staff members from academic departments and administrative divisions gave superb performances of poetry recital, dance and songs to celebrate their own special day. More than 200 representatives of current staff members, retirees, students and alumni attended this ceremony and watched the performances.
