CUFE held a welcome ceremony on September 9th for new students of 2016 at the stadium of Shahe campus. 2482 freshmen attended the ceremony.

With the majestic melody of the National Anthem, the ceremony officially kicked off.

Professor Wang, Guangqian, president of CUFE, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the university at the ceremony. He gave congratulations and extended warm welcome to all the seated students. He also briefly introduced the current situation and development of CUFE as well as the situation of talents cultivation.

Professor Wang Qiang, from School of Culture and Communication, delivered a speech on behalf of all the teachers. In his speech, he talked about what a university student should learn at the university. He advised the freshmen to concentrate on academic studies and self-cultivation.

On behalf of all the senior students at CUFE, Yang, Yidan, a student from School of Taxation, delivered a speech, sharing her understanding of university life.

Then, Sheng, Yu, a freshman from School of Accountancy majoring in Management Accountancy, made a positive response on behalf of the freshmen.
