Professor Richard Edwards, the President of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (RU), led a delegation to visit China and hosted a reception to celebrate the university’s 250th anniversary in Beijing on 26 April. Professor Junsheng Li, Vice President of Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) and MsXiaoyan Zhang, Director of International Cooperation Division of CUFE presented to the reception as distinguished guests.The reception was hosted by Mr Max Baucus, U.S. ambassador to China.

In the reception, Professor Junsheng Li had in-depth talks with Professor Richard Edward, Professor Eric Garfunkel (Vice President of RU), Professor Lei Lei (Dean of Rutgers Business School) and Professor James Hayton (Dean of School of Management-Labor Relation). Both parties stressed the importance of mutual exchange among universities, and came to an agreement on further cooperation between the two universities.
