On March 16, a delegation from the University of Notre Dame, including Hong Zhu, senior director of global education, and Wang Jingyu, executive director of its Beijing Office, visited the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). Peng Yuchao, director of the International Cooperation Division at CUFE, met with the guests along with other representatives.

Peng introduced CUFE’s international cooperation and exchange initiatives, as well as its disciplinary strengths and current development. He noted that the two institutions share a solid foundation for collaboration and broad prospects for future partnership. He expressed hope that both sides would explore feasible pathways and expand cooperation in areas such as student exchanges and joint training programs, in order to build higher-quality platforms for academic exchange and collaboration.

Hong Zhu and Wang Jingyu presented recent developments at the University of Notre Dame and its Beijing Office, including its global education strategy and achievements in international student exchange. They expressed their intention to further expand diversified and high-level cooperation projects based on the existing partnership.

Both sides held in-depth discussions on the implementation of specific cooperation initiatives.
