Ministry of Education recently published the 2015 Cheung Kong Scholars Program Award. Professor Binkai Chen, deputy head of School of Economics of Central University of Finance and Economics, received the Cheung Kong Scholars Program Award for Young Academics.

The Cheung Kong Scholars Program set up its young academics program in 2015 for the first time. This program aims to support Chinese universities to recruit and cultivate high potential young scholars who has strong academic and research ability as well as strong work ethics. The program chooses 200 academics each year. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years.
