The CEEMAN was founded in 1993 and it has become an influential global association of international business education, with a commitment to promote the development quality of business education in central andeastern Europe. The CEEMAN has been a contributor to international exchange programs, cooperative teaching and scientific research activities among various member universities, which has promoted their exchange and communication. The CEEMAN also focuses on the research of management transformation and development in emerging countries and highlights the market/customer relevance and social responsibility of business schools. Meanwhile, as China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) continuously advances, it is a new mission of international cooperation development for China's business schools to strengthen the cooperation and exchange with countries and their business schools involved in the BRI.

The CUFE Business School is one of the few business schools in China which have been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA). With the differentiated and internationalized development strategy, the CUFE Business School has been dedicated to higher business education programs of high quality and standard, with a view to establishing a domestically top and internationally renowned business school. The accession to the CEEMAN is a milestone to the internationalization of business education in CUFE.
