On the morning of June 8th, the seminar “Epidemic, Economic Countermeasures and National Governance” hosted by the Institute of Finance and Economics of our university and Beijing Finance and Economics Research Base was successfully held online. Nearly 100 teachers and students from Peking University, Renmin University of China, the Development Research Center of Social Sciences in Universities under the Ministry of Education and the Research Office of the CPC Central Committee of the Taiwan Communist Party of China attended the meeting. The meeting held in-depth discussions on two themes of “The impact of the epidemic on the economy and further countermeasures” and “Policy options for National governance under the epidemic”.
