Sponsored by the Confucius Institute Headquarters and cosponsored by Cultural Office of Chinese Embassy in Brazil and Pernambuco University’s Confucius Institute with CUFE, the 15th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Contest for World Universities (Brizil Final) began in the morning of May 22 according to the local time in the city of Recife, Pernambuco. Eight Confucius Institutes of Brazil participated in the final contest. In the end, An, Junsheng, a student from the Confucius Institute of CUFE, won the first place and would take part in the global final in China in July on behalf of Brazil with the second prize-winner Tian, Yani, Brazil’s only observing contestant.
