The 1st Asian Sudoku Championship was held in the stadium of Seoul National University from January 21st to 22nd. About 200 players from around Asia entered the competition. 28 Chinese players took part in the Championship, includingWang Weifan from the School of Information of CUFE, who won the 4th prize in the adult group with 1535 marks in 5 rounds. Kota Morinishi, the former world champion from Japan, won the 1st prize of this group.
