On the afternoon of October 12th, 2017 Autumn Freshmen Sports Meeting was held in CUFE. More than 500 freshmen from 20 schools participated in the game. The competition was divided into three items: men events, women events and mixed events.Basketball dribbling relay, shooting relay and whirlwind run are the new sports events of this year.

It is reported that the men's 200 meters, men's high jump, men's 4*400 relay, men's solid ball throw, women's 800 meters, women's high jump and women's 4*400 meters projects create a new record.
