8 English and Japanese Language Teaching Positions are available at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) from September, 2014 to July, 2015. The teachers will work at the School of Foreign Studies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The main responsibilities of the Language Teachers are to:

● Teach: (1) Undergraduate courses: Oral English/Japanese. （Shahe Campus）

(2) Courses for postgraduate students: Oral English. (Xizhimen Campus)

(3) Courses for PhD: Oral English (BEC 3). (Xizhimen Campus)

● Give a 2-hour lecture on western cultures each term.

● Organize an English Corner twice each term.

TEACHING LOAD:

The maximum teaching hours are 16 hours per week. In addition to that, other activities including English Corner and English Lecture are also requested. All classrooms are equipped with computers and projected for PowerPoint / music / DVD etc.

LOCATION:

● Downtown campus (main campus): North of Xizhimen subway station (NW corner of Line 2) with several good and economical restaurants, large supermarkets within 5-minute walk. Track, basketball & tennis courts, cafeterias, restaurants provided on campus and a gymnasium 2 bus-stop away (12-minute walk) from the campus.

● Shahe campus: Located in Changping District, about 40-minutes bus ride from the downtown campus. Regular school shuttle bus is available everyday between the two campuses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Native Speakers;

● Bachelor and above degrees;

● At least two-year teaching experience;

● Linguistics, literature major or TESOL certificate preferred.

THE UNIVERSITY CAN PROVIDE:

● Monthly Salary: RMB 5,500 per month from September 2014 to July 2015.
