On the muddy and slippery court, they steadily received serves and delivered decisive spikes — winning the crucial match against Beijing Forestry University through tenacious defense and seamless cooperation, for a great start in the group stage. On June 7, they defeated Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Beijing Technology and Business University in two successive matches — advancing as group leaders andsecuring a spot in the quarterfinals.

Nevertheless, CUFEplayers again maintained their composure and delivered consistent performances under fire. Every diving save and jump block left marks of their effort on the burning sand. Ultimately, the players overcame their opponents and advanced to the finals.

In the finals, the team faced Beihang University. It won the first set with smooth offensive play; in the second set, the opponents adjusted their tactics and CUFE fell behind. In the decisive set, fatigue and the opponents' strong attacks gradually widened the score gap, but the players fought until the very last ball hit the ground. When the final whistle blew, the runner-up result was sealed on the scoreboard, recording the team's full journey of perseverance and fine performances.
From the muddy court in the rainstorm to theblistering sand under the scorching sun, from the tough start in the group stage to the all‑out sprint in the final, they overcame multiple challenges — weather, schedule and physical exhaustion. Every match was fought to the last, and every player demonstrated willpower and resilience.
