A University Presidents Forum was held on October 18 as part of CUFE’s 70th anniversary celebration. More than 200 distinguished experts and scholars from different countries gathered to share insights on this year’s theme “Responsibility and Mission for Universities in Social Changes”. In the keynote speeches session, Wang Yaoqi, President of CUFE, Dong Qi, President of Beijing Normal University, Peter Dawkins, President of Victoria University, Eric Garfunkel, President of Rutgers University, Zhuo Zhi, President of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Jon Frampton, Assistant President of University of Birmingham, and Wu Daguang, former Vice President of Xiamen University each congratulated CUFE for its 70th anniversary and delivered speeches. The theme involved in-depth dialogue, seminars and other interactive exchanges on topics including higher education revolution in the age of artificial intelligence, social sciences in the context of higher education internationalization, and integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education with professional education, etc.
