On the evening of June 13, Oxford University Professor Stephen Broadberry was invited to give a lecture entitled “Comparative Studies of the Economic Development of China and the West (980-2017): Rethinking of the Great Divergence”. Professor Wang Yaoqi, president of CUFE met with him before the lecture. They exchanged ideas on many issues including the disciplinary development and research in economic history,etc.
