On December 23, the International Research Institute of Green Finance of CUFE released the research report:The Environmental and Social Risk Management of Overseas Chinese Capital Investment and Financingin Beijing. Related symposiums were held, on which the experts exchanged their ideas about the current environmental and social risk management of overseas Chinese capital investment and financing.

The report summarizes the capital source of the Chinese overseas projects, the main characteristics of investment and financing channels as well as the environment of investment and financing channels and the situation and characteristics of social risk management mechanism. It also conducts classified statistics of causes for the 118 failed acquisition transactions from 2005 to 2013 and does classified analysis of the items reviewed by financial institutions under the Equator Principles in a year in terms of industry, region and level of risk. The report also reviews some cases of the environmental and social risk management tools and mechanisms in global investment.
